I Found a Guru — Mel Robbins Taught Me the Most Liberating Rule of My Life
Every now and then, you stumble upon an idea so simple and so honest that it rearranges something inside you. That happened to me the day I discovered Mel Robbins’ Let Them Theory. Mel doesn’t just motivate you. She activates you!
Her work is magnetic because it’s human, direct, and designed for those of us in the arena — building, trying, failing, growing, and daring to want more for our lives. And this one concept has completely changed how I lead my business and my life.
The Rule Is Simple:
Let them.
Let them think what they want.
Let them misunderstand you.
Let them doubt your vision.
Let them leave if they want to leave.
Not because you don’t care — but because your energy belongs to your purpose, not to managing other people’s opinions, fears, or limitations.
Before this shift…
I spent too much time:
• Trying to win over people who were never meant to be my customers
• Justifying my mission to those who didn’t share my values
• Shrinking ideas because someone might judge them
• Working overtime to keep relationships alive that drained me
I was handing my peace and potential away… drop by drop. After embracing Let Them Theory: I redirected that energy into what actually grows a company:
• The mission
• The values
• The customers who love what we do
• The partners who see the vision
• The opportunities aligned with who we are becoming
And suddenly — everything started moving.
The right people show up when you stop begging the wrong ones to stay.
Momentum grows when you stop apologizing for wanting more.
Doors open when your confidence stops asking for permission.
I’m seeing it daily at Rawmantic®Chocolate:
New distribution opportunities.
Aligned partnerships.
Customers who get it without explanations.
Support I don’t have to chase.
Not because everything became easy — but because I stopped wasting energy on what was never mine to control. Letting go is not passive.
It is leadership.
It is alignment.
It is self-respect turned into strategy.
Mel’s message reminded me: You can’t build your future while gripping the past.
Let them stay where they are.
Let them underestimate you.
Let them watch.
You focus on building the life and business you know are meant for you.
I found a guru — not someone who tells me what to do…
but someone who reminds me what I already know: Your energy builds your reality. Protect it fiercely.
Thank you, Mel Robbins, for giving me the most freeing filter I’ve ever used in business — and in life.
If you connected with this, I’d love to hear:
What’s one thing you’re finally ready to let go of so you can grow?
